EVA HOPPERwas born in Hartford, Kentucky on May 21, 1932 the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Bertha Ward.She was united in marriage to William Hopper, who preceded his wife in death on October 13, 1996.Mrs. Hopper worked at the Opryland Hotel for 5 to 8 years before she retired. She was a member of the Church of God for 20 years in Savannah, Tennessee. Mrs. Hopper was a Christian woman who loved her family and she enjoyed quilting. She departed this life on August 27, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 6 days.Mrs. Hopper is survived by one daughter, Glenda Wyatt of Savannah, Tennessee11 grandchildren, Jeannie Lee, Melissa George, Jeronica Bennett, Bradley Flener, Philip Flener, Jessica Flener, Erica Flener, Jeremy Flener, Brian Flener, Shannon Flener and Nichole Valdez.18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson2 sisters, Mary Sayre of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Wilda Swope of Cache, Oklahomaone brother, Richard Ward of Culvert, MichiganIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by 4 sons, Gilbert, Gary, Elmer and Gerald (Gerry) Flener and 2 brothers Eugene Ward and Clarence Ward.
