Eva Word

Eva Word was born on October 19, 1958 in Poinsett County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Edsel Hall Kinkead and Virginia Estel Carter LaBryer.

Ms. Word worked as a certified nursing assistant and was a member of The Carpenter's Shop in Savannah, Tennessee. Eva liked to be outdoors and enjoyed drawing.

Eva Word departed this life on March 25, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 6 days.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Bradley Word, RJ Word, and Robert Eaker, all of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Jennifer Word and Virginia Word of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Eddie Kinkead of Washington and Edger Kinkead of Stantonville, Tennessee; sisters, Evon Porier of Stantonville, Tennessee and Patsy Dudley of Washington; and grandchildren, Gaige Word, Gracie Mealer, Jackson Whitley, Charlie Whitley, Brody Whitley, Mollie Word, Peyton Word, and Preston Presley.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Copeland and brother, Buddy Kinkead.
