Lois Evelyn King departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 19 days. She was born in McEwen, Tennessee on February 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Nina Elizabeth Holland and James Clinton Wallace. On June 7, 1951, she was united in marriage to John W. King, who preceded her death on December 6, 1984.
Lois Evelyn had lived in Saltillo, Tennessee and was a member of the Saltillo First Baptist Church for 54 years. She was also an active member of the Hardin County Fair Board and the Home Demonstration Club. Lois Evelyn enjoyed reading, cooking, church work, and she loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Sharpe and her husband, Martin of Mandeville, Louisiana, Vanessa Linam and husband, Mike of Savannah, Tennessee, and Joel W. King and wife, Lura of Slidell, Louisiana; grandson, Patrick Brown; and granddaughter, Nina Brown.
