Everette Lee Glasscock of Bolivar departed this life Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native and life-long resident of Hardeman County, he was the son of the late Billy Austin and Thelma Helen McAnally Glasscock. Mr. Glasscock was a 1971 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and, in 1973, was the first EMT in Hardeman County for the Ambulance Authority. He retired, after 30 years, as a recreational therapist from Western Mental Health Institute. On September 25, 1981, he was united in marriage to Alba Willoughby. A member of the Bolivar First Baptist Church, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing.
He leaves his wife, Alba Glasscock of Bolivar; his step-son, Mark (Dee) Moore of Medon; a step-daughter, Michelle (Keith) Williams of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Landon and Lofton Moore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alva and Betty Day Glasscock; and a son, Jeremy Glasscock.
