Fannie Kate Austin

FANNIE KATE AUSTINwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 6, 1935 the daughter of the late Millard Cecil and Mamie Ellen Barrier Smith.On January 1, 1950 she was united in marriage to Eldridge Allen Austin, Jr., who preceded his wife in death on May 31, 2011.Fannie retired after 20 years as a CNA from Hardin Medical Center. Fannie was a member of Holland\'s Creek Methodist Church.Fannie departed this life on June 11, 2012 at Glenwood Healthcare in Florence, Alabama at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 5 days.She is survived by her children, Brenda Austin of Florence, Alabama, Rodger Austin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Michelle Jones and her husband Lynn of Savannah, TennesseeFannie is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian Austin and his wife, Jennifer, Matthew Austin and his wife Missy, Landon Austin, Whitney Garrison and her husband Matt and Katelyn Jones.5 great grandchildren, Carleigh Austin, Christopher Austin, Austin Smith, Madalyn Smith and Addison Jones.Fannie is also survived by her sister, Joyce White of Savannah, Tennessee and her brother, Hassel Smith of Central, Alabama.
