Faye Nell Stewart passed away on June 21, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
She was born in Cloverport, Tennessee on September 23, 1929 to Andrew and Malinda Tate Harrell. After enjoying a childhood on the farm with her parents, she married John Gordon Stewart on June 19, 1949 and moved to Middleton, Tennessee, where she lived the remainder of her life.
She was the youngest of five children, with all of her brothers and sisters preceding her in death, Gale Harrell, Louise Harrell, Clyde Harrell and Estelle Harrell Weaver. She was married for 59 years to her husband, who died in 2008.
During her lifetime, she enjoyed raising her children, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her children, all of whom survive, include Rita (Larry) Kennedy; Elaine Kirk, Pattie Maxwell, Andy (Beverly) Stewart, and Tracy (Roger) Shelton.
In addition to being a homemaker, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Stewart retired as the Manager of the Middleton High School Cafeteria and also retired as a Customer Service Manager at Walmart.
In addition to her children, she leaves behind to cherish her memory four grandchildren and their families, Jonathan (Tasha) Maxwell, Alex (Kelsey) Kirk, Ami (Eddie) Darling, and Joshua (Jacquelyn) Stewart. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren.
