Faye Voyles, 69, of Middleton, departed this life Monday evening, November 16, 2015 at her home in Middleton.
A native of Hardeman County, she was born June 12, 1946 to the late Robert Rufus Bass and Lessie Elizabeth Duncan Bass and lived here all of her life. She worked at Thyssen-Krupp until her retirement in July of 2012 and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, travelling, camping,and watching and attending Tennessee Titan football games. Above all of this, she dearly loved her family and spending time with them.
Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Pam and Tony Baker of Middleton; four sisters, Frances Howell of Middleton, May Weathersbee of Bolivar, Betty (Gene) Phillips of Bolivar and Linda (Jerry) Stewart of Jackson; her very, very close friend, Danny Phillips of Whiteville; a half sister, Virginia Johnson of Middleton; and her granddaughter, Brooke Baker of Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dessie Vickers and Helen Watridge; eight brothers, Dale Bass, Roy Bass, Olion Bass, Robert Bass, Delbert Bass, Bobby Bass, William Earl Bass and Travis Bass; and a nephew, Terry Sisco.
