Faye Wilson

Mrs. Wilson was born in Lake County, the daughter of the late Ernest France and Lou Ethel Middleton Wadley. She graduated from Tiptonville High School and attended U.T. Martin. She married William Herrel Wilson in 1940. They made their home in Hornbeck and Union City. Mr. Wilson died Dec. 21, 1983. Mrs. Wilson lived in Dresden for 8 years and then made her home in McNairy County since 1991. She was a member of the Finger Church of Christ.She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Rushing and husband Laws Rushing, Sr. of Finger; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Averell of Greenville, SC, Sonya Taylor and husband Derrick of Bethel Springs, Laws Rushing, Jr. and wife Stacey of Nashville and Dwayne Wilson Rushing of Finger; 3 great-grandchildren, Zane Taylor, Ella Taylor and Rachel Averell. She was preceded in death by her husband William Herrel Wilson in 1983, a special cousin, Ben Cole Middleton and a brother, Clint “Doc” Wadley.
