Fleetie Gertrude Jones

Fleetie Gertrude Phillips Jones of Waynesboro, TN, was born July 1, 1938 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Sam William and Sarah Bertie Moore Phillips. She married Bobby Joe Jones, December 25, 1954 and was retired from Trace Manufacturing.

Mrs. Jones departed this life January 29, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 6 Months, 28 Days.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Joe Jones and sons, Eddie Wayne Jones, Bobby Gene Jones and wife, Stephanie and Phillip C. Jones all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Candi Luedeke, husband, Jesse, Mason Jones, wife, Becky, Daniel Jones, wife, Jennifer and Dustin, Derek and Ingrid Jones; great-grandchildren, Isabel and Lana Luedeke, Ryleigh, Luke, Madison and Colin Jones and Ashley, Katelyn and Seira Musselwhite; a brother, Sam William Phillips, Jr., wife, Ann of Soddy Daisy, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Annabella Jones.

Services will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones and Joseph Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Daniel, Dustin, Mason and Derek Jones, Shane, Marty and Robin Phillips.

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.
