Flora Welch

Flora Welch departed this life on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 29 days. She was born in Minnesota on September 23, 1943, the daughter of the late Pete and Selma Mae Peters. On January 30, 1972, she was united in marriage to Earnest Thomas Welch, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 20, 2013.

Flora enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, and spending time with her grandkids. She retired from the Tennessean Truck Stop where she was employed as a cook.

Flora is survived by her son, Tommy Welch, Jr. and his wife Wendy of Parson, Tennessee; step children, Judy Garcia of Modesto, California, John Welch of Spring, Texas, Trudy Rich of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Cheryl Martinez of Sante Fe, New Mexico; brother, Charles Kreps of Stockton, California; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Flora was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jean Bundy and brothers, Norbert Kreps and Clarence Kreps.
