FLOYD ALFRED BAIN
was born on February 27, 1924, in Savannah, Tennessee to Horace and Margaret Ann Godwin Bain, who preceded him in death. On December 31, 1954, he married Dorothy Lee Gammill, who preceded him in death on December 10, 2011.
Floyd served his country by serving in the United States Army during World War II, as a medical technician. He was self-employed as a farmer all of his life. He attended Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Floyd departed this life on December 28, 2012 at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 1 day.
He is survived by two sons, Carol Alfred Bain and his wife, Lawanda and Gregory Bain and his wife Tammy, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
A brother, Delbert Bain and his wife Jo Nell, and a sister, Sarah Margaret Owens and her husband, James and a sister-in-law, Lois Bain, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
Three grandchildren, Weston Bain and his wife Cecile, Alyssa Bain and Garrett Bain, and one great-grandchild, Journee Klaire Bain.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Bain.
