Floyd Linn Johnson

FLOYD LINN JOHNSON, SR.was born in Lutts, Tennessee on June 4, 1938 the son of the late Paul Langsford and Thelma Petty Johnson.On June 20, 1968 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Brown, who survives.Floyd also was a United States Army Veteran. He was a self employed farmer, Floyd also had done work as a mechanic in oil fields, was a logger and had done fruit picking. He really enjoyed spending time gardening.He departed this life on June 14, 2012 in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 74 years and 10 days.In addition to his wife, Marjorie of Lutts, Tennessee, Floyd is survived by his children, Floyd Linn Johnson, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee, Wesley Johnson of Lutts, Tennessee, Travis Ray Johnson of Waterloo, Alabama, Johnny Johnson of Colverdale, Alabama, Dennis Edward Johnson of Waterloo, Alabama, Cynthia Marie Hicks of Kansas City, Kansas, Rebecca Sue Fielder of Florence, Alabama, Bobby Glen Johnson of Russellville, Alabama and Bobby Russell of Lutts, Tennessee.Floyd is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one brother, Gene Johnson of Florence, AlabamaIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Junior and James Johnson and one sister, Betty Cossey.
