Mr. Kee died Tuesday night, October 18, 2011, at his home in Bolivar.



Mr. Kee was born June 18, 1938, to Arvin and Hester L. White Kee in Fayette County. He and his wife Helen Ruth Moss Kee married March 15, 1963, and lived in Fayette County until moving to Bolivar in 1975. He was a member of the Bolivar Church of God, loved being outdoors, and enjoyed family dinners and activities. He was a good father and husband and helped his neighbors.



Mr. Kee served 24 1/2 years in the National Guard after serving active duty in the Army from 1960-62, during the Cuban Conflict. He worked for the Whiteville Police and the Hardeman County Sheriff's Departments and was the owner/operator of Kee Trucking for almost 25 years.



In addition to his wife Helen, survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra Kay Smith and husband John of Toone, and Tonya Lynn Davenport and husband Travis of Hickory Valley; 2 sons, Floyd M. Kee and wife Beth of Cloverport, and Tony L. Kee of Bolivar; 4 sisters, Inez Simmons and Millie Brown both of Somerville, Judy Laney of Cloverport and Janice Mount of Henderson; 3 brothers, R. C. Kee of Williston, TN, Roger Kee of Cullman, AL, and Richard Kee of Grand Junction; 7 grandchildren, Amy Trotter, Laura Moore, Brittany Galigher, Stephanie Davenport, Joshua Galigher, Devin Kee and Tanner Davenport; 4 great-grandchildren, Bryce and Braiden Trotter, Christopher Eric and Travis Lynn Galigher; 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alice Ryan who died in 1994.
