Frances Pauline Armstrong

Mrs. Frances Pauline Armstrong, age 92 of Medon, passed from this life Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.She was born August 27, 1916 in Hardeman County to the late Luther Theodore and Mattie Jane Hammers McCarley. She graduated with the Bolivar Central High School class of 1937 and married Walter Boyce Armstrong, November 3, 1946. She lived all her life here as a homemaker. She was a member of the New Union Baptist Church and was an avid gardner. Her husband preceded her in death April 2, 1979.She leaves as her survivors, a daughter, Cathy Gilliam of Medon; two sons, Milton Armstrong of Memphis and Jerry Armstrong of Toone; seven grandchildren, Trisha Dugan of Murfreesboro, Chad Armstrong of Bolivar, Shelley Garner of Bolivar, Blake Armstrong of Memphis, Whitney Armstrong of Nashville, Dylan Armstrong of Toone and Madison Armstrong of Toone; and two great-grandchildren.
