Frances Dickey Berry

Frances Dickey Berry , formerly of Collinwood, TN, was born April 16, 1916 in Lawrence Co., TN, the daughter of the late George Ammon and Betty Jane Kyle Dickey. She married Johnnie Joe (Jab) Berry, December 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death, June 22, 1980.

Mrs. Berry, a retiree of Collinwood Manufacturing, was a member of Collinwood Freewill Baptist Church, Collinwood, Tennessee and departed this life, November 3, 2017 at Waynesboro Health and Rehab, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 101 Years, 6 Months, 18 Days.

Survivors, daughters, Wylofaye Daniel, Collinwood, TN, Jimmie Lou Peppers, husband, Jim, Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Angela (Angie) Darlene May, husband, Bill, Jonathan Dee Peppers, wife, Jennifer, Jeri Denise Dunnivant, husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Nathan, Trevin, Destyn, Justice, Evan; great-great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Sawyer, Presley, Landon, Olivia; brother-in-law, James Berry, wife, Iva Jean; sisters-in-law, Mable Cameron, Annie Holt, husband, Bobby, Wylodean Fite.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Berry; a grandson, James W. (Tuffy) Daniel, Jr.; brothers, Roy, Vernon H., Lige, G. A., Carlton and Charlie Dickey; sisters, Oma Mae Cameron, Laveda Loveless, Icie and Bernice Dickey.

Services will be Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 11:30 am until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dee Peppers, Destyn Hyatt, Jamie Stone, Trevin May, Bill May and Danny Berry.

Honorary pallbearer will be Nathan May.
