Services for Frances Marie Ray Inman of Waynesboro will be Monday,February 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Don Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery on Beech Creek with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Inman was born September 17, 1928 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Fred and Eva Battles Ray. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by husband, John William Inman, son, Freddie Inman; two infant daughters, Carolyn Inman and Reba Inman; a grandson, Nicholas Inman; a brother, Kenneth Ray; and a sister, Glenda Stricklin. She died Friday, February 15, 2013 at Wayne County Nursing Home at the age of 84 years, 4 months, and 29 days. Mrs. Inman was a homemaker, factory worker, and baby sitter. She was a Mormon.
She is survived by a son, Johnnie Dale Inman of Collinwood, TN;
two daughters, Kathy Gail Dixon of Waynesboro, TN and Myra Joy Inman Banks of Savannah, TN; grandchildren, Chris and Wendy Inman, Andrew, Kayla, Colton, and Katlin Banks, Damien Staggs, Heather Lynn Haddock, Jamie Jackson, and Wesley Dixon; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Alec, and Abby Inman, Dylan, Brady, and Chase Jackson, Alexis and Tristen Staggs, Nicholas Haddock, and Levi Hunt; a brother, Fay Ray of Memphis, TN; and a sister, Dorothy Richardson of Linden, TN; several nieces and nephews.
