FRANCES S. JOHNSON
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 8, 1926 the daughter of the late Bud and Lizzie Frazier Stricklin.
On February 8, 1947 she was united in marriage to J.C. Johnson, who preceded his wife in death.
Frances was a retired seamstress for Brown Shoe Company. After retirement she enjoyed her life on the farm, working with the flowers she loved. Frances was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 10 days.
Frances is survived by her children, John C. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Nasa and Ronnie Johnson and his wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Adam Johnson and his wife Jessica, Amy Johnson Hosea and her husband Brad, Denny Johnson and his wife Misty, Angela Irons and her husband Rob, and Jackie Gregory and her husband Joey; and great grandchildren, Caitlin Johnson, Cash Johnson, Cruz Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Hadley Johnson, Haley Johnson, Alisha Irons, Cierra Arnold and Christian Arnold.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Katie Creekmore.
