Her professional journey was marked by dedication and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Frances retired from Aqua Glass in 2005 after a rewarding career in customer service. However, her desire for growth led her to further her education. At the remarkable age of 65, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a testament to her belief that it is never too late to pursue one’s dreams. She subsequently took on a new role at the Whiteville Correctional Facility from 2008 to 2010, where she applied her skills and learned from a diverse population, contributing to the betterment of her community.
Frances was a woman of many passions. Her love for the outdoors manifested in her exuberant gardening that filled her yard with an array of flowers, each bloom a reflection of her vibrant personality. Whether she was tending to her plants or observing wildlife, Frances found tranquility and joy in every aspect of nature. Alongside her passion for the natural world, she cultivated a rich appreciation for the arts. Taking art classes fueled her creative expression, and she often found solace in painting, capturing the beauty she encountered throughout her life.
A devoted member of Malesus Baptist Church, Frances extended her involvement to Clover Creek Baptist Church and the Medon community, where she cherished her church family and friends. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, one that produced countless cherished memories and bonds with those around her.
Frances leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is survived by her husband, Don H.
