Frances Parks

Frances Bowen Parkswas born in Sassafras Hollow, Kentucky on February 20, 1927 the daughter of the late Delsie and Arminta Madden Bowen.On August 31, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clifford Parks, who preceded her in death on May 20, 1983.Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.Mrs. Parks departed this life on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the age of 84 years, 2 months, 3 days.She is survived by a daughter, Denice Phillips of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sons, Lee Parks of Powell, Tennessee and Stan Parks of Dickson, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Peggy Fannin and Dean Seals both of Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, Lauren Scott, Alysha Graves, Lyndsey Parks, Bob Phillips and Beth Stephens; 2 great grandchildren, Ben Scott and Olivia Graves.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Joseph Parks; 3 sisters, Irene Cornnet, Inez Terry and Pat Montgomery.
