Frances Odean Wilson Berry

Frances Odean Wilson Berry, aged 84, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. She was born in McNairy County, TN, to the late Rev. Laphord Leon and Lou Jane Griffin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Wilson Berry. Odean spent 61 years happily married to her loving husband Charles Berry.

 Her journey led her to a career with the United States Army Corps of Engineers where she worked as a dedicated program analyst before her retirement in 1993. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, as a cherished member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, TN.

 She is survived by her husband, Charles David Berry of Bartlett, TN; son, Jeff Berry (Jan) of Bartlett, TN; daughter, Susan Berry Ervin (Chris) of Cramerton, NC; brother, Leon Wilson of Somerville, TN; grandchildren, Courtney Ervin Fuchs, Scott Ervin, Sarah Berry Caldwell, Emily Berry Tristeza; great grandchildren, Micah Fuchs, Eli Fuchs, and Bennett Caldwell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm; service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

 Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Rev. Mike Hollaway officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Cypress Inn, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

 Pallbearers will be Scott Ervin, Raymond Caldwell, Stanley Tristeza, Jeff Berry, Collin Berry and David Berry.
