Frank Estle King

Frank Estle King was born August 16, 1923 in Ramer, TN the son of the late Frank and Pauline Woods King.

He was united in marriage to Helen Grace Taylor on February 16, 1947.

Mr. King worked for McNairy County Highway Department for 53 years. He was a talented musician and loved playing his fiddle. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II from 1943-1946. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Selmer, TN.

Mr. King departed this life on December 4, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 3 Months, 18 Days. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Grace King of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Carol Anne Smith and husband Lynn of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Tony King and wife Marie of Ringgold, GA; four grandchildren, Eric Smith, Jill (Smith) Fowlkes, Brittany King, Michael King; two step grandchildren, Krystal Roach, David Mendenhall; three great grandchildren, Josh Fowlkes, Elizabeth Fowlkes, Riley Smith; step great grandchild, Shanna Roach; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by two brothers, Felix King, Arvie King; two sisters, Donna Mae King, Mattie Sue King;
