Frank D. Kearney

Mr. Frank D. Kearney, age 78, of Bolivar, departed this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Chrisitan Care Center in Bolivar.

The son of the late David and Zora Shearon Kearney, he was born in Bolivar and lived here until completing high school.  Enrolling in the University of Memphis, he went on to receive his master's degree in education and became a teacher in Memphis schools until retirement.  He returned to Bolivar 10 years ago.

He leaves two sisters, Annette Kearney of Bolivar and Carolyn McManus of Stone Mountain, GA; and one brother, Raymond Kearney of Bolivar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha McFarland; and two brothers, Ramsey and Gaylon Kearney.

Memorials may be sent to the Parrans Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
