Frank Edward Reynolds departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 29, 1936 the son of the late Jamie and Mirl Franks Reynolds. On November 26, 1955 he was united in marriage to Reba Gayle Franks, who survives.
Frank had worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois; Vulcan Materials in Savannah, Tennessee; Canal Barge in New Orleans, Louisiana; and retired from Crounse Corp. in Paducah, Kentucky. While working for Crounse Corp. he held the position of Tow Boat Engineer, Pilot, and Captain. He enjoyed metal detecting and was an avid gardener. Frank was a member of Woodmen of the World and Sharon Baptist Church, where was involved with church activities. He enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and trips to the Holy Land. He was a great husband, father, and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Reba Gayle Franks Reynolds of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Pamela G. Reynolds of Arlington, Tennessee; sons, Ronald E. Reynolds and wife, Pam of St. Augustine, Florida and Roger L. Reynolds and wife, Julie of Decatur, Alabama; grandchild, Will Thrasher of Pensacola, Florida; great grandchildren, Grant Thrasher and Lauren Thrasher; sisters, Roxie Livengood of Savannah, Tennessee, Rilla Worshum of Georgia, and Emma Lutrell of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, James and Harris Reynolds both of Savannah, Tennessee and Danny Reynolds of Foley, Alabama.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Eldene and Irene Robinson.
