Frankie Marie English Walker Harrison
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 2, 1927 the daughter of the late Lewis Harley and Cora Delia English.
On November 24, 1972 she was united in marriage to John Fredrick Harrison, who preceded his wife in death on August 14, 2001.
Frankie retired after 41 years from Brown Shoe Company. She loved going to church and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and doing yard work. Frankie's greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren.
She departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 2 months, and 30 days.
Frankie is survived by her children, Toy Keeton of Zion, Illinois, Lynette Harrison of Corinth, Mississippi, Janette Harrison Meliet of Kenner, Louisiana, Sherria Mooneyhan of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Shellia Fitts of Savannah, Tennessee; 16 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Kate Hosea of Savannah, Tennessee and Rachel Mae Wyatt of Scotts Hill, Tennessee.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, M. H. Walker; second husband, John Fredrick Harrison; stepmother, Flora English; two sons, Lash LaRue (Ruie) Brasher and John Fredrick Harrison, Jr.; brothers, Doty Dee, Oty Lee, Orlando English, and L. H. English; and sisters, Reba Nellie (Nell) Polk and Edith Estelle Walker.
