Frankie S. Keller, 94, of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
She was born June 5, 1915, in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Joseph Nelson and Florence Butler Shearon, the sixth of nine children. She married Paul B. Keller on March 8, 1940, and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2005. She worked at Western Mental Health Institute where she retired as Director of Medical Records. She had a certificate as Medical Records Librarian and was a member of the Medical Records Association. She was an expert seamstress and excellent cook. She was dedicated to her family and friends, enjoyed time in her garden with birds and many flowers, and was a positive influence on all who knew her. She was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Paula K. Harris and William A. of Memphis; a sister, Reba Carman of Bolivar; a brother, Jesse Shearon of Alamo; and two grandchildren, William A. 'Trey' Harris III and wife Misty of Chattanooga and Paul Hudson Harris of Memphis.
