Mrs. Wardlow
entered into eternal peace on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the age of 85 years,3 months, 30 days. She was born on February 19, 1927 the daughter to the late Jesse James and Lena Irene Franks Terry in Hamburg, Tennessee.
On April 19, 1947 she was united in marriage to Gary D. Wardlow who preceded her in death on May 24, 2004.
Mrs. Wardlow was a housewife. She enjoyed attending her church South Shiloh Pentecostal Church where she was a faithful member until her health confined her. She loved reading her bible. Mrs. Wardlow also enjoyed living in the Shiloh area. Her time was precious with children and family.
She is survived by 1 son, James Gary Wardlow of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 daughters, Betty Doris Pusser, Carolyn Kay Carroll, both of Savannah, Tennessee; Wanda Sue Nguyen of Jackson, Tennessee; Ranae White of Saltillo, Tennessee and Misty Bundy of Ripley, Tennessee; 4 sisters, Clara Jones and Audrey Cornelius both of Savannah, Tennessee; Amy Brown of Chicago, Illinois; Janie Buckles of Rienzi, Mississippi and 1 brother, Jesse Terry of Pickwick, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wardlow was preceded in death by 1 son, Larry Wayne Wardlow; 3 sisters, Betty Joe Seaton, Lillian Wardlow and Norma Gean Ellis; 3 brothers, Red Terry, Jimmy Leon Terry and Ocie Terry; and 2 great grandchildren, Tracy Newcomb and Jonathan Newcomb.
