Franklin Eddington departed this life on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the age of 64 years, 3 months, 28 days. He was born in Arkansas on October 1, 1951, the son of the late Frank and Louella Eddington.
Franklin was self-employed in the logging and timber industry. He had also worked for Paul Jaggers. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride four-wheelers.
He is survived by a son, Randy Eddington of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Mary Ann Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; five grandchildren; a brother, David Eddington of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Mary Jane Moore, Betty Davis, and Barbara Ledlow all of Waynesboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda K. Thompson Eddington.
