Fred Michael DeLong

Fred Michael DeLong was born on May 6, 1973 in Wabash, Indiana, the son of the late Fred and Margaret Cook DeLong.

On October 21, 1993, he was united in marriage to Lorri Ann Handing, who preceded her husband in death on June 9, 2019.

Fred worked at Moore's Sawmill in Adamsville, Tennessee. He enjoyed working on things and being a mechanic.

Fred Michael DeLong departed this life on January 22, 2026 in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 52 years, 8 months, and 16 days.

He is survived by his sons, Malcom DeLong, Chris Cannon, William Cannon, and JoJo Cannon; sisters, Cindy DeLong and Lynette DeLong; brother, Keith DeLong; and a host of additional family.
