Fred Robertson

Finger, Tennessee: Fred Robertson, age 98, died Sunday night, June 14, 2009 at Jackson General Hospital.Mr. Robertson was born in 1911 and raised in the Enville-Cabo Community. He married Gladys Marie Lewis in 1946. In 1952, he and his brother Carmack Robertson founded Robertson Brothers Trading Post, a double proprietorship that has served West Tennessee and North Mississippi until the present. He was saved and baptized by Rev. A.D. Gurley in 1959. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his brother, his sister Lois Bell, a son Wayne Robertson and two grandsons, Allen Robertson and Michael True. He is survived by his widow, Gladys Robertson of Finger, a son John Robertson of Henderson, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
