FREDDY COOK, SR.
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 3, 1950 the son of the late Cecil Earl and Fanny Ruth Easley Cook.
On August 31, 1968 he was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Creekmore, who survives.
Freddy was a retired Millwright for LTV Steel. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ, where he loved leading the singing and spending time with his church family. Freddy was a lifelong mechanic of Volkswagens. In his spare time he enjoyed selling and trading, fishing and riding his Trike. Freddy loved spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and all his family.
He departed this life on July 10, 2017 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 7 days.
In addition to his wife Joyce of 48 years, Freddy is survived by his two children, Roxann Johnson and her husband Stephen of Savannah, Tennessee and Bubba Cook and his wife Tammy of Savannah, Tennessee.
five grandchildren, Ann Marie King and her husband Nathan, Stephanie Cook, Kaitlynn Cook, Emma Ann Johnson and Sadie Hunt
three great grandchildren, Nate King, Kali King and Greyson King
two brothers, Charles Cook and Bobby Cook, both of Savannah, Tennessee and two sisters, Leisa Arnold and Rhonda Cook, both of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Freda Smith.
