G. W. Wilson

G. W. Wilson, age 69, of Bolivar, departed this life Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1948 to the late William and Emma Jane Ervin Wilson. He served in the US Army from 1967-1970 and was a retired farmer. He also worked as a mechanic, drove a truck for Warner Ross Trucking and was a member of Forest Hill Pentecostal Church.

Survivors are his sister, Wanda Faye Wilson of Bolivar; brothers, Robert Wilson (Lana) of Hornsby, and William Wilson, Jr. (Dianee) of Jackson; nieces & nephews, Mickey & Lynn Irvin, Sherry Fry, Kenny Irvin, Zondra Scott, Jimmy Smith, Chris Wilson, Robin Marek, Renee Balentine, Jamie Lewis, Jeremy Wilson, John, Christy, Amanda, Shea and Rusty Flat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley M. Irvin; and his life partner, Gean Ivy.
