Gail Garner Hurst

Gail Garner Hurst was born January 30, 1952 in Selmer, TN the son of the Late Elmer Hurst and Ethel Garner Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN.

Mr. Hurst departed this life on July 7, 2014 at the age of 62 Years, 5 Months, 7 Days.

He was retired from Chickasaw State Park with 14 years of service. After his State of Tennessee retirement, he worked for approximately 12 years for Monogram Refrigeration in Selmer. Gail was a member of Refuge Church of Christ. He liked to hunt and fish and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Vicky, whom he married on May 28, 2014; a daughter, Nina King and husband Josh of Corinth, MS; a son, Eric Hurst and wife Stephanie of Michie, TN; his mother, Ethel Hurst of Bethel Springs; four grandchildren: Blake Edwards, Macie Forsythe, Marlie King, and Maleah King; a sister, Nancy Henson of Hernando, MS; a brother, Terry Ray Hurst and wife Marie of Selmer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Jo Taylor, and a brother-in-law, W. C. Henson.
