Garcie "JR" Roberts

Garcie "JR" Roberts was born on January 13, 1958 in Long Beach, California, the son of the late Garcie and Elsie Irene Thornberry Roberts.

Mr. Roberts worked as a self employed carpenter. He was a member of Church of God in Savannah, Tennessee and attended Eureka United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Garcie was a very skilled craftsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and arrowhead hunting. His grandchildren loved him very much and affectionally called him their "Pepaw."

Garcie "JR" Roberts departed this life on August 9, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 27 days.

He is survived by his daughters, Letisha Rene Roberts Stamp of Savannah, Tennessee and Leslie Ann Roberts Emison and her husband Jay of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Sharee Thornberry and Paulette Black and her husband Duane; brother, Robert Roberts and his wife Doris; and grandchildren, Destiny Stamp Waterman and her husband Brandon, Chloe Stamp, Denim Stamp, Lacie Stamp, Scarlett Emison, and Lorelei Emison.
