Garry Curnice Whitten

Garry Curnice Whitten age 69, was born December 22, 1946 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Curnice and Clara Geneva Lacefield Whitten. He was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in the Rosecreek Community. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. Garry retired from Henco and later went to work for Elam Mattress Company.

Mr. Whitten departed this life on May 30, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 69 Years, 5 Months, 8 Days.

He is survived by a daughter, Nina Marie Willis and husband Tony of Guntown, MS; two grandchildren, Allison Paige Willis and Claire Elizabeth Willis both of Guntown, MS; his siblings: Jerry Whitten and wife Sandy of Stantonville, TN, Danny Whitten of Crump, TN, Bama Whitten Conaway and husband Don of Adamsville, TN, Neva Whitten Davis of Adamsville, TN, Steve Whitten and wife Belinda of Ramer, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Whitten was preceded in death by two nieces, Amanda Victory and Nicki Johnson.
