GARY HESTER

Henderson, TN: Gary Lynn Hester age 64, passed away April 23, 2026, at his home.

He was born April 15, 1962, in Jackson, TN, the son of Betty Jo Booth Hester and the late William Carroll Hester. He grew up in Chester County and attended Chester County Schools. He joined the army at age 17, and served three years, two in Germany and then one year in Georgia.

He worked at West Tennessee Pump in Jackson for about ten years as a Sales Representative, then worked at Lowes and Henderson Home Furnishings.

He loved his dogs and leaves behind his beloved Joanie.

He enjoyed family functions and loved to be outdoors, in nature.

He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Hester is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Booth; two brothers, David William Hester (Pattie) of Luray, Michael Lawrence Hester (Ellar J.) of Finger and a sister, Elizabeth Camille Wiencek (Robert).

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Ronald Carroll Hester.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 28th, at Cave Springs Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Cave Springs Baptist Church, 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time on Tuesday.
