GARY JOHNSON
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 28, 1955 the son of the late Alfred David Johnson, Sr. and Etta Kathleen Bratton Johnson.
On April 11, 1992 he was united in marriage to Rebecca Jane Johnson, who survives.
Mr. Johnson was a self-employed cattle farmer. He also worked for Adamsville Sand and Gravel for 28 years. Mr. Johnson attended Cherry Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a baseball card collector and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Mr. Johnson was a dedicated husband and father, he never missed any of Harrison's baseball games. He enjoyed working with his cattle and loved all of his family especially all of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Johnson departed this life on August 8, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 11 days.
Other than his wife, Becky of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one son, Harrison David Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee.

3 brothers, Edward Johnson of Stantonville, Tennessee, Elbert Johnson of Iuka, Mississippi and Larry Johnson of Michie, Tennessee
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Teddy and Doyle Johnson.
