Gary Wayne Murray

Gary Wayne Murray was born November 17, 1945 in Bethel Springs, TN the son of the late William Virgil and Mary Lessie Henson Murray.

He was united in marriage to Dianne Barham on March 9, 1971.

In the early 70's, Gary Wayne loved playing dominos at Mortons Store. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, lawnmowers, and bicycles. He spent a lot of time fishing, but most of his time was spent in the logging woods. He started working at Murray Sawmill when he was a young boy and continued until he no longer could work.

Mr. Murray departed this life on February 16, 2018 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 2 Months, 30 Days. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Murray of Adamsville, TN; a son, Jonathan Murray of Adamsville, TN; three brothers, Bruce Murray and wife Betty, Larry Murray and wife Janice, and John Ross Murray and wife Lola; a sister, Pauline Walker; two sisters-in-law, Doretta and Francis Murray; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Murray was preceded in death by three brothers, Oneal, Gordon, and Will Tom Murray; two sisters, Joyce Plunk and Mary Beth Tate.
