Gary Leon Shirley

Gary Leon Shirley Sr. was born January 4, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of the late Loyd Earl and Mildred Newman Shirley.Mr. Shirley was a carpenter. When he lived in McNairy County he attended Faith Baptist Church in Selmer. Mr. Shirley departed this life on February 1, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 59 Years, 28 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Angela Crum of Iuka, MS; a son, Gary Leon Shirley Jr. and wife Sharon of Iuka, MS; five grandchildren, Hunter Crum, Ashleigh Crum, Christina Crum, Austin Crum, Gary Shirley III; three sisters, Rena Wilson of Nashville, TN, Linda Crunk of Nashville, TN, Virginia Rowe of Denver, CO; nieces, Cindy McDaniel of Hickman, KY and Margaret Hann of St. Peters, MO; nephew, William F. Rines Jr. of Senatobia, MS; sister-in-law, Doris Rines of Senatobia, MS; host of nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Sue Shirley; four brothers, Charlie Shirley, Bobby Shirley, Butch Shirley, Tommy Shirley.
