Gary Dale Weeks was born July 4, 1957 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of Wanna Mae Martin and the late Elvin Jarvis Weeks.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Carol Knight on July 31, 1987.
Mr. Weeks was a co-owner M & G Sawmill. Before opening M & G Sawmill, he worked at Aquaglass in Adamsville. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. He also served as a member of the McNairy County Democratic Nominating Committee. He was a very loving and big-hearted person who was full of laughter and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his family and always wanted them to be together. He was happiest when his grandson Johnny was in his arms.
Mr. Weeks departed this life on February 2, 2010 in Enville, Tennessee at the age of 52 Years, 6 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife Nancy Carol (Knight) Weeks of Enville, TN; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn (Weeks) Burkeens and husband Jeff of Enville, TN; mother, Wanna Mae (Martin) Weeks of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Barbara June Ward of Selmer, TN, Myra Jean Brooks and husband Bryan of Selmer, TN; a brother, Malcolm Lynn Weeks of Enville, TN;a grandson, Jonathan William Burkeens; father and mother-in-law Bud and Nell Knight of Bolivar, TN; 5 sisters-in-law; 8 brothers-in-law; 20 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by grandparents Alfie Newton and Mary Frances (Harris) Weeks and James Franklin and Bertie Lee (Wilson) Martin and one brother-in-law.
