Gary Wilson was born on May 4, 1951 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Charlie Burns and Freeda Stanfield Wilson. He was united in marriage to Brenda Carol Gordon, who preceded her husband in death on July 18, 2015.
Gary worked as a salesman for over 40 years at Jones Motor Company in Savannah, Tennessee. He enjoyed trading and selling tractors, boats, campers and all types of merchandise. He also sold firewood to individuals. Mr. Wilson attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and loved his dog, Joe Joe, and his cat, Tittles.
Gary Wilson departed this life on March 15, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
He is survived by his son, Greg Wilson and his wife Shannon of Savannah, Tennessee; step son, Brian Davis and his wife Bobbie Joe of Savannah, Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Woodrow Wilson, Cody Wilson, Skyler Davis, Gracie Davis, and Emily Arnold.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Clay Wilson and Billy Charles Wilson.
