was born in Stantonville, Tennessee on June 4, 1932 the daughter of the late Thomas Gray and Arbie Dancer Carson.
June of 1949, she was united in marriage to John L. Linville, who preceded her in death on August 14, 1982.
Mrs. Linville was a lifelong resident of Hardin County, Tennessee. She accepted the Lord and was baptized at the age of 12. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, aunt and friend.
Mrs. Linville departed this life on August 15, 2011 at the age of 79 years, 2 months, 11 days.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Young and her husband Mike, Mary Clawson and husband David all of Savannah, Tennessee, Patsy Partain and husband Jerry of Hernando, Mississippi; 3 sons, Stanley Linville, David Linville and Lisa Bryant, Jimmy Linville and wife Barbara; a brother, Jerry Carson and wife Ann of Stantonville, Tennessee; a sister, Martha Chenault of Stantonville, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren, Brian Linville, Brandon Linville, Jonathan White, Bridgett Chafin, Jeremy Partain, Jimmy Partain, Melissa King, Ronald Davis, Sammy Jo Shelby, David Foster, Wesley Linville, Anna Ghrammer, and Dustin Myers; 13 great grandchildren and 1 due in October.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, June Chenault.
