Mrs. Lowry passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2011 at her home.



The wife of David Paul Lowry, who survives, she was a secretary at Hornsby Elementary School. Mrs. Lowry was born October 9, 1948 in Covington to Arlen Cox and Elizabeth Crawford Cox, both of Hornsby and lived all of her life in Hornsby. She also worked as a real estate agent and at Bolivar General Hospital as an emergency room admissions clerk. She was a member of Hornsby Baptist Church and a graduate of Bolivar Central High School class of 1966. Her family states that she loved her dogs.



In addition to her husband, whom she married July 4, 1986, and her parents, she is survived by a step-son, Paul Grant Lowry of Bolivar; two uncles, Kenneth Crawford of Hornsby and Deryal Crawford of Bolivar; and 2 aunts, Hazel Sexton of Henderson and Mary Dean Chandler of Hornsby.
