Gaylord R. Rosa

GAYLORD R. ROSAwas born in Owosso, Michigan on August 19, 1929 the son of the late Frank and Edna Richardson Rosa.On August 20, 1949 he was united in marriage to Lois Millo, who survives.Mr. Rosa was a retired Corrections Officer for Gwinnett County Georgia Prison. He was a United States Army Veteran, where he served in Japan. Mr. Rosa was a member of Church of Christ, V. F. W. and F and A .M. in Owasso, Michigan. He had a good sense of humor and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.Mr. Rosa departed this life on August 18, 2009 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 30 days.Other than his wife Lois of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Fish and her husband Donald of Statham, Georgia3 sons, Rick Rosa and his wife Barbara of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Randy Rosa and his wife Brenda of Savannah, Tennessee and Rodney Rosa and his wife Doris of Sarasota, Florida.6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildrenone brother, Leonard Rosa of Owasso, MichiganOther than his parents, Mr. Rosa was also preceded in death by one son, Leslie Rosa, 3 sisters, Rita Lingo, Velma Shiedler and Virginia Shultz.
