Genda Blakney departed this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 18 days. She was born in Corinth, Mississippi on January 4, 1962, the daughter of Ellvon Milligan Parson and the late James Wesley Parson.
Genda had worked for Caterpillar as a material coordinator.
She is survived by her children, Blake Blakney and his wife Megan of Michie, Tennessee and Jesse Blakney and wife Kayla of Selmer, Tennessee; mother, Ellvon Parson of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Allie Blakney, Kade Blakney, Lauren Blakney, and Madison White; and brother, Paul Parson of Counce, Tennessee.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stacey Parson.
Genda had worked for Caterpillar as a material coordinator.
