Gene Caperton

GENE CAPERTONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 9, 1934 the son of the late Joe and Amy Clement Caperton.Mr. Caperton was an auto mechanic. He worked for Jones Motor Company and Ray May Motors, he was self-employed last few years. Mr. Caperton was also a race car driver. He departed this life on July 21, 2007 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 12 days.Mr. Caperton is survived by one daughter, Jean Ann Lands of Savannah, Tennessee.5 stepdaughters, Shelia Barrier, Teresa Cummins, Lisa Franks, Sherry White and Kimberly Gladish, all of Savannah, Tennessee.3 stepsons, Hershel Davison of Enville, Tennessee, Keith Davison and Stacy Davison, both of Savannah, Tennessee.one grandchild, Anna Jean Winborn, several step-grandchildren, one great grandchild, Alison Lane Replogle and several step-great-grandchildrenseveral nieces and nephewsMr. Caperton was also preceded in death by one sister, Artie Blanche Davison, 2 brothers, Joe Carroll and Billy Caperton and one step-grandson
