Mrs. Johnson passed away Wednesday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1917 in McNairy County to the late Ross and Allie Sanders McCalip. Mrs. Johnson retired as a farmer, an independent realtor and artist. She was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school over 55 years.
Survivors are 2 grandchildren, Julianna Johnson Craft of Bolivar, Alex William Johnson of Huntsville, AL; 5 great grandchildren, Hudson, Joanna, and Elijah Cade Craft, Ross Brooks Johnson and Anna Grace Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Johnson, who died May 13, 1988; and a son, Palmon Joe Johnson.
