Geneva Maness

Geneva Harwell Maness was born July 27, 1929 in Chester County Tennessee the daughter of the late Arlie L. and Vora Bridges Harwell.She was united in marriage to Bonnie A. Maness on January 7, 1945. Mr. Maness preceded her in death on December 2, 1989.Mrs.Maness was a retired Sewing Machine Operator for Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of the Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church, enjoyed collecting calendars, stamps, fountain pens and pencils as well as crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and geneology.She is survived by two sons, Neal Maness and wife Freda of Lexington, TN, Sammie Maness and wife Gayle of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Kathryn Edwards of Reagan, TN; three grandchildren, Melissa Baxter and husband Darren of Clarkesville, TN, Kevin Maness and wife Angela of Houston, TX, and Keith Maness of Southaven, MS; four great grandchildren, Gavin Baxter, Morgan Baxter, Dakota Blakely, and Angelena Blakely; two step grandchildren, Chris Blakely of Adamsville, TN and Chad Blakely and wife Daphine of Adamsville, TN.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs.Maness was preceded in death by a brother, Max L. Harwell.
