George Marshall Garrett age 69 of Stantonville was born May 19, 1947 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Ellis Andrew and Ruby May Maples Garrett. Marshall enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and sitting on his porch watching the wildlife. Mr. Garrett departed this life on May 2, 2017 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 11 Months, 13 Days.
He is survived by two sons, Jake Garrett and wife Denise of Corinth, MS, Robert Garrett and wife Tina of Walnut, MS; a sister, Nola Earline Sanders of Selmer, TN; special nieces, Doris Ingle and Brenda Todd; 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by three sisters: Jewel Pannel, Myrtle Russell and Pearlene Walls.
