George Haymon

George Haymonwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 21, 1943 the son of the late George and Ethel Broyles Haymon.On August 26, 1966, he was united in marriage to Margaret A. Dixon, who survives.Mr. Haymon was retired as a Unit Supervisor from Alcoa in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Graham Chapel CME Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on engines and loved sports of all kinds.He departed this life on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the age of 67 years, 7 months, 19 days.He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Dixon Haymon of Savannah, Tennessee; a son, George E. Haymon, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Cynthia L. Haymon and Sherri Siner both of Savannah, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, Antonia Hood, Kenneth Potts, Brittaney Haymon, ChaVaughn, Naijia Bryant, Kaydin Pope and Kamron Haymon; 6 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, R. T. Haymon and a sister, Betty Luton.
