George Alvin Lockard

George Alvin Lockard Jr. of Waynesboro, TN was born June 2, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of Edna Matthews Lockard of MI, who survives, and the late George Alvin Lockard.Mr. Lockard was a truck driver and construction worker.Mr. Lockard departed this life on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home at the age of 66 Years, 2 Months, 16 Days.Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife, Connie Jean Hutchinson Lockard of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Ricky Garland and Timothy Lockard both of MI and Rocky Lockard of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Lynett Dunn and Candy Garland both of Waynesboro, TN, and Jaydeen Garland of MI; 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren; brothers, Freddie Lockard and Gary Lockard both of MI; Jimmy Lee Lockard of Savannah, TN; sisters, Barbara Rossiter, Trisha Stallings, and Debbie Farris all of MI; Wanda Lockard of Adamsville, TN: Libby Williams of GA; Lisa Lockard, Betty Jo Lockard, and Beverly Lockard all of Savannah, TN; several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 10 am at the Fellowship Cemetery in Scotts Hill, Tennessee with Jason Love officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Rocky Lockard, Ricky Garland, Timothy Lockard, Eric Garland, Cody Martin, Elijah Martin, and Chad Lockard.
